British Academy Monographs

Books by outstanding British Academy-supported early-career scholars.

Since 1998 the British Academy has produced a series of monographs that has provided an excellent publishing opportunity and showcase for British Academy Postdoctoral Fellows. From 2015 the series has also been open to British Academy Newton International Fellows. The next deadline for submissions is 13 July 2017.

Volumes are published by Oxford University Press.
Some older volumes are available from Oxbow Books.

For Librarians: 34 British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship Monographs published 2003-2013 are now included in British Academy Scholarship Online. More recent Monographs will be added in further updates.
